Texarkana Chamber Announces Inaugural ‘State of Lithium’ Event for July 15
The Texarkana USA Regional Chamber of Commerce this week announced an inaugural, one-day State of Lithium conference, scheduled for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., July 15, at the Hilton Garden Inn and Convention Center in Texarkana, Texas.
The event will focus on the Smackover Formation’s expanding lithium opportunity across Arkansas and Texas, with programming aimed at business leaders, elected officials, educators, workforce partners and community stakeholders.
The conference will begin with a “Lithium 101” session covering lithium applications, extraction methods and the mineral’s role in the domestic energy supply chain.
